HPA Statement Regarding New Georgia Flag

The Heritage Preservation Association officially denounces the process that brought about the new state flag.

The legislation passed by the Legislature and signed by Governor Sonny Perdue does not give the people of Georgia a real voice in the March 2 "referendum".

However the people's voice will be heard in the upcoming elections and HPA supports the removal of any politician who had a hand in denying the people's choice on the flag referendum, regardless of party affiliation.
